Chamarajanagar: Two different murder cases have taken place in the Gundlupet taluk of Chamarajanagar.
In one incident, a resident of Gundlupet’s Hosuru Layout, Girish has been murdered. The motive behind his murder is not yet ascertained. According to reports, Girish was in love with a girl and there are suspicions that this could be the reason for the murder.
Girish’s paternal uncle Nagaraja Naika is contesting a local election as a Bharatiya Janata Party candidate. Girish went missing on Sunday, May 26, after casting vote for his uncle.
He was found dead on Monday, May 27, near Sastapuri Hotel. The police have registered a case and investigation is on.
In another incident at Kodahalli in Gundlupet, a housewife has killed her husband with the help of her boyfriend. The culprits are identified as Rathnamma and her lover Muniya. Both are absconding and the police are on the lookout for them.
District Superintendent of Police Dharmendra Kumar Meena and Gundlupet Circle Inspector Balakrishna rushed to the spot and assessed the situation.
