Chamarajanagar: The senior officials issued a notice to the staff of KSRTC to evacuate their residential quarters. The employees are supporting the strike, and are in agitation demanding the implementation of the Sixth Pay Commission report.
The KSRTC staff has residential quarters near Chamarajanagar Bus Depot. Even though KSRTC staff and employees have been on strike for an indefinite period from April 7, senior officials of the Transport Department have issued a notice to evict the quarters in Chamarajanagar on Friday, April 9.
The notice issued by the divisional controller and pasted on the door of the locked quarters mentions that the housing facility would be withdrawn if KSRTC staffs fail to join the duty. This has now created tension among the staff and family members.
