Chamraj Nagar: The state government called curfew was completely successful in the district.
On Sunday April 25, the second day of the weekend curfew, after the public went home buying essentials between 6am and 10 am, the entire town wore a deserted look. to 10am, and the town appeared deserted. The general public travelled only for emergencies. Couple of marriages were held under strict Covid-19 protocol.
Though few KSRTC buses were plying, they too had few passengers. Due to private buses not plying, the population from rural areas did not travel to district centres as much.
The weekend curfew became a success due to the tight police security in place across the district.
