Chamarajanagar: Fourteen people died on Thursday May 6 as Covid in the Chamarajanagar district, which borders Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Kerala, is on the rise.
As of Thursday night, 794 new cases were reported in the district with fourteen deaths, and the total death toll reaching 212.
The number of coronavirus cases in the district has been increasing over the past few days, with 3801 confirmed active cases in the district. In the meantime, 379 have been discharged after being relieved of the infection with total 10325 people being recovered so far. On Thursday, 744 have been confirmed of Corona through RT - PCR test and 50 through Rapid Antigen Test.
