Mangaluru: The Department of Obstetrical and Gynaecological Nursing of Yenepoya Nursing College, in collaboration with Acts-Yen, conducted a ‘Midwifery Stimulation and Skills-Leading the Way With Quality Care’ workshop on April 30, in the Yenepoya University (Deemed) premises.
Registrar of Yenepoya University Dr. Gangadhara Somayaji inaugurated the workshop.
Professor in the Department of Obstetrical and Gynaecological Nursing of Manipal College of Nursing, Dr. Soniya R B D’Souza was the chief guest of the event.
Principal of Yenepoya Nursing College Dr. Leena K C and Karnataka State Nursing Council Observer Thippeswamy D M were present in the workshop.
As many as 72 representatives of various nursing colleges of Mangaluru participated in the workshop. Head of the Department Janet Preema Miranda welcomed the gathering and Vinitha D’Souza, Secretary, proposed a vote of thanks.
