Two-day book exhibition inaugurated at St Aloysius College

Mangaluru: A two-day Book Exhibition organized by the St Aloysius College Library was inaugurated on August 2 at the college auditorium.

Principal, Rev. Dr. Praveen Martis SJ presided over the programme. Registrar, Dr A.M. Narahari, Chief Librarian, Dr George A Rodrigues and Assistant Librarian, Sunitha Machado were on the dais.

Rich tributes were paid to Padmashri Dr S.R. Ranganathan, Father of Library Science on this occasion.

Eminent publishers such as Viva Books Pvt. Ltd, S. Chand & Company, Kalyani Publishers, Navakarnataka Publications, B. B. Books, R. V. Book Distributors, Prajwal Book Distributors, Academic Book Distributors, Vidyarthi Books, IK International Publishing House have exhibited thousands of books on various subjects and books for general reading.

This Book Exhibition will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for academicians, students and the public.

Dr. George A Rodrigues welcomed the gathering. Sunitha Machado proposed a vote of thanks.
