Traffic awareness: VVPUC students urged to follow rules and save lives

Mysuru: Vijaya Vittala Composite PU College (VVPUC) in association with KR Traffic Police Station, Mysuru organized Traffic Awareness programme at its college auditorium recently. The programme was inaugurated by Inspector of KR Traffic Police station Manjunath.

Manjunath enlightened the students on the necessity of following road discipline. He said moving calmly and carefully on the roads, and cultivating patience and attitude of respecting rules will help avoid the students from being the victims of accidents. He further urged all citizens, vehicle owners and pedestrians must be aware of traffic safety guidelines.

Sub-Inspector of KR Traffic police station, Shivakumar educated the students about the mandatory, cautionary and informative traffic rules and regulations.

Principal of VVPUC H Satyaprasad reminded the students to be careful on roads and urged them to understand the gravity of their careless actions on the road have on road accidents that claim many lives every day.

ASI, Kuvempunagar Traffic Police Station, Siddegowda, Traffic wardens Subramanya and Ramanath among others were presents.
