St. Philomena PUC students renders cracker of performance in athletic meet

Puttur: Athletic team of St Philomena P.U. College exhibited their sportive spirit at District Level Athletic Championship held at Moodabidri.

Boy’s Athletic team has bagged the runners-up and both Boys and Girls team bagged the overall runners-up title with three Gold, two Silver and six Bronze medals.

Preetham Rai (II PCMC) has bagged the Individual Championship and has raised the flag of victory.

Moreover, Preetham Rai, Bhavith Kumar (II HEPS) and Raksha Anchan (IPCMB), are selected for the State Level Athletic Meet which will be held in Mysuru, on November 24 and 25.

Principal, Rev. Fr Vijay Lobo, has congratulated all the winners.

• Preetham Rai of II PCMC has bagged two Gold and one Silver in Long Jump, Triple Jump, and 4x100m. Relay.
• Bhavith Kumar of II HEPS has bagged a Gold and Bronze in Pole Vault and High Jump.
• Raksha Anchana of I PCMB-D secured Silver in 3km Walk.
• Vineeth G. R. of I PCMB-B secured two Bronze in Disc Throw and Hammer Throw.
• Mohammad Unaiz of II ECBA secured a Bronze and Silver in 100m and 4x100m Relay.
• Harshitha A has bagged a Bronze in 1500m.
• Neha of I PCMB secured a Bronze in 4x100m Relay.
• Elson Pereira of II ECBA secured Silver in 4x100m Relay
• Rickson Martis of II SCBA secured Silver in 4x100m Relay
