Mangaluru: The Kindergarten section of St. Aloysius Gonzaga School celebrated colours day with great fun and enthusiasm on July 18.
Patsy D Souza, Principal of Nisarga Play School, Kadri, was the chief guest of the day. Principal Fr. Melwyn Anil Lobo SJ and Vice Principal Jacintha D Costa were the other dignitaries present. The chief guest appreciated the efforts of the school and parents in nurturing the children. She spoke on the importance of colours and wished the students to brighten up the world like different colours.
Comparing the tiny tots to God’s angels, the Principal in his address, expressed his views on the positive effects of colours in one’s life. The students’ enthusiasm and confidence in compering the programme, delivering welcome address, significance of the day, vote of thanks were appreciated by all. On the same occasion, Pre-KG section was also inaugurated by the chief guest.
