Mangaluru: Cadets of Army Wing (18 Kar Bn)and Airwing (Flight C, 6 Kar Air Sqn)NCC of St Agnes College, organized a remarkable Tree Plantation Pakhwada in their home area on the World Environment Day. The Cadets selected an empty area and planted the saplings.
To maintain the ecological balance this program was organized with a lot of sincerity and seriousness. All cadets participated enthusiastically.
This program created a lot of awareness among all the cadets. Lt Gayathri B.K, ANO of Army Wing and Dr Hithakshi Anand, ANO of Airwing were also the part of this program, by planting the saplings. Cadets took an oath to take care of the growth of saplings and decided to see that the trees are saved from being cut down.
