Mangaluru: The inaugural ceremony of the student cabinet for the academic year 2019-20 was held on July 13 at 11 AM in the College PU Auditorium.
Rajni Lobo Patrao, PGDIB, was the chief guest on the occasion.
The student cabinet comprises of 29 members who are elected by the student body; the cabinet is a representational body of leaders at the student level. The PG Student President Anna Una Crasta and UG Student President Jerusha Maben took the oath administered by the principal, Sr Dr Jeswina AC along with the eight Vice Presidents and 19 members of the student cabinet.
The theme that the Cabinet has adopted for the year 2019-20 is: “Individually we are one drop, together we are an Ocean”.
Rajni Lobo Patrao, an Alumna of the College, in her address inspired and guided the new cabinet from her own experience as a privileged student president of St Agnes College in the academic year 2000-2001. She also spoke about her experience of working in the corporate world as well as the creative field.
Sr Dr Jeswina A.C., Principal, Sr M. Carmel Rita A.C., Administrator, Sr Dr M. Venissa A.C., Vice-Principal, Sr Dr M. Vinora A.C., PG Co-ordinator., Registrar, IQAC Coordinator, Dean Administration, Deans, the PTA Executive Committee Members and parents, Alumni, faculty, and UG and PG students of the College were also present.
