Mangaluru: The TEAM ASTRO comprising students from Third Year Mechanical Engineering at St. Joseph’s Engineering College, Vamanjoor, Mangaluru, secured the first place at the state level and stood at the 12th place at an all India level out of 52 teams that participated in Regular Class (with Electric motor) from all over the country.
The Aero Design Competition was conducted by SAEINDIA- Southern Section and Centre for Aerospace Research from June 8 to 10 at MIT Campus of Anna University, Chennai.
Team members comprised of Akash Rai, Sushan Kumar, Dheeraj Poojary, Akshay Veigas, Srijesh B Shetty, Karthik and Jevish Fernandes.
The college has congratulated the students on their stellar achievement.
