Mangaluru: Sarosh Institute of Hotel Administration, a unit of Nitte Education Trust, had organized a state level seminar on ‘Entrepreneurship and Skill Development’ for the students of the UG and PG colleges.
The program was inaugurated by Vishal Hegde, the Pro-Chancellor of Nitte Deemed to be University. On this occasion he addressed the students and said the no jobs would be created without the entrepreneurs. He later added that we cannot say what are we going to lose and gain in a business. One who fears in failures will never be entrepreneur.
Kumble Narasimha Prabhu, Managing Director of Kumble Solar Energy Solutions was the Guest of Honour for the program. He also spoke on ‘Effective Public speaking, taxation and norms to start a new enterprise’. Prof. Amar Cherian, Principal of the college, Nirupama Purushotham, event coordinator and Gladen D’Souza, President of student council were present on the dias. Bhavith Karkera compered the programme. Around 300 students participated in this seminar.
