Mangaluru: National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of Sarosh Institute of Hotel Administration organized Arogya – 2018, a free medical camp in collaboration with KSHEMA, Deralakatte recently in the college campus.
The programme commenced with a short prayer and was inaugurated by Dr Pavan Kumar (Assistant Professor, Community Medical Science). Dhanya Menon, NSS officer welcomed the gathering and NSS student coordinator Mervin Vas proposed the vote of thanks. Professor Amar Z Cherian addressed the gathering, Santhosh N P, social worker in community service was also present. 141 people including students were benefited through this medical camp.
In the noon, NSS unit organized Traffic Awareness Seminar in Utsav, college auditorium. ACP Traffic Mangalore city zone and his team were present for this seminar. ACP Manjunath Shetty addressed the gathering on road safety and its importance and Amanulla, Inspector Traffic Department briefly about Traffic rules. At the end there was an interactive session with the student
