Mangaluru: The Post Graduate Department of Business Administration at AIMIT (St. Aloysius College) organized a two-day long workshop on ‘Leadership Skills’ on July 4 and 5. The inaugural session began with a solemn prayer service lead by the Director of AIMIT, Rev. Fr. Denzil Lobo SJ, which included readings from Swami Vivekananda. This was followed by a motivational presentation on iconic leaders.
The inaugural function for the workshop was graced by Fr. Denzil Lobo, Dr Rowena Wright (Dean), Reena Monteiro (Faculty coordinator), Charlotte (Vice Principal, PU, SAC) , Kiran Shetty, Lestan D Souza (Faculty coordinator, AIMIT), Pradyumna R Rai ( PU Student Council President) and Mehak Pinto (PU Student Council Secretary).
Fr. Denzil Lobo addressed the gathering and called on the gathering to make the most of every opportunity that the college provided and carry the torch of the enormous legacy, that the college had, forward. Rev. Fr. Melwin Mendonca SJ, Principal St. Aloysius PU College, also graced the occasion. This was followed by inspired sessions on leadership by resource persons including Fr. Denzil Lobo, Dr Babu Thomas, Lestan D’Souza, Rajendra Desai and Royce Baretto.
