Mangaluru: Balmatta Cluster-level Prathibha Karanji competitions were held at St. Aloysius College Higher Primary School, Karangalpady on July 20.
The event began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the Block Resource Person Geetha S and all other dignitaries of the day.
Geetha S said that these competitions were a platform to develop a competitive spirit and present one’s talents to a wider audience.
CRP Benedicta D’Souza, PTA Vice president Rekha Fernandes were present.
The Headmistress Philomena Lewis welcomed the gathering whereas Assistant Headmaster Liya D’Souza proposed a vote of thanks. School teacher Irene Pais compered the inaugural programme.
Later, various competitions for the students of the cluster including quiz, Kolata dance, patriotic singing, and folk dance were held.
