Mangaluru: Padua College of Commerce and Management in association with Wenlock blood bank, Padua college Alumni Association, Lion’s Club Mangalore Netravati, Padua College NSS unit, JCI Lalbagh, and Youth Red Cross organized a blood donation camp at the college premises to aid to poor patients especially patients suffering from dengue.
Dr. Sharath, Medical Officer of Wenlock Hospital was the guest of honor. Addressing the gathering at the start of the camp he said, blood donation is critical for many patients and blood donation camps like these go a long way in making blood available in emergencies.
Fr. Alwyn Serrao, Principal Padua college of commerce and management, Mrs. Flavita, President of the Lion’s Club, Mangalore Netravati, Mr. Lavithraj, President of Padua College Alumni Association, Mr. Deenath D’Sa, President JCI Lagbagh, Mr. Roshan Santhumayor, Vice Principal, Padua College and Co-ordinator of NSS unit were present on dais. More than 100 volunteers, students, lecturers, parents, and well-wishers donated blood.
