Udupi: The orientation programme for the degree students of Milagres college was organized on June 19.
Dr. Thomas Quadros, director of Glowinstar Academy, Ambalpady was the chief guest on the occasion.
In his inaugural address, he spoke about the five stages of life – growth, exploration, establishment, maintenance and decline. Of this he termed the establishment stage ranging from the age 15 to 24 to be of most importance and called upon the students to utilize their energy and talents, and make the best preparation for this stage.
The correspondent of Milagres Institutions Very Rev. Fr Stany B Lobo presided over the programme.
Shrinidhi Kamath , a III BCom student welcomed the gathering. Joshwa Quadros of III BCom proposed the vote of thanks. The programme was compeered by Aral D’souza of II BCA.
Campus Director Rev. Dr Prakash Anil Castelino, Principal Dr Vincent Alva, Directors of Students Welfare Council Prof. Subramanya Joshi and Associate Prof. Annamma were present on the occasion.
