Mangaluru: As part of the NSS Day, the NSS unit of Milagres College Mangaluru had organised Plastic Free Environment programme on 24 September 2018. Health officers of Mangalore City Corporation Madhu S Manohar and Shabarinath Rai were present for the programme.
The programme began with the inspirational words by Madhu S Manohar. NSS students began the Plastic Free drive from Ambedkar Circle Jyothi to Milagres College Mangaluru. All the NSS volunteers actively participated in the programme. The surrounding of the main road was cleaned. The programme was held under the guidance of NSS programme officer Nikhil Martis and Physical director Yogeesh.
