Mangaluru: With the slogan “Youth for science and humanity”, the students of Rosario College of Management Studies had organized an annual camp for the year 2018-19 under the NSS (National Service Scheme) in the Pejawar Church Higher Primary School, Kalavaar on Tuesday, December 26.
The camp was organized from December 26 to January 1.
Convener of the school Rev Fr. Marcel Saldhana inaugurated the camp.
He lauded the efforts of the NSS volunteers.
Principal of Rosario College of Management Studies Rev Fr. Rocki Fernandes presided over the programme.
The chief guests of programme were Headmistress of the school Prescilda Lobo, Vice President of the parent board of Pejawar Church Peter Correah, President of Bala Gram Panchayat B Adam, Vice President Ranjani, PDO Vishwanath B, President of the schools’ Shikshaka-Rakshaka Sangh Abubakar, and camp leader Bashir Hilal were present.
The camp volunteers cleared the waste deposited on the roads and helped in maintaining the road.
