Mangaluru: The inauguration of Milagres Educational Institutions’ ‘Avishkar 2018’, a cultural fest, was held on December 21 at the Milagres College campus.
The programme was formally inaugurated in a symbolic manner by releasing a bunch of balloons. The well wishers of the event were then honoured on the occasion.
After inaugurating the fest, Vicar General of the Mangalore Diocese Msgr. Maxim L Noronha said that an event such as this will help develop the personality of the students and provide an opportunity for creative minds to exhibit their talents. “This platform should be used by the students and society to transform themselves into better citizens of the world,” he said and congratulated the institution for hosting such an event and wished them well.
Campus Director and Fest Convenor Rev. Fr. Michael Santhumayor welcomed the gathering. Teena D’Souza compeered the programme.
