Mangaluru: Milagres College, Mangaluru organized a Staff Enrichment programme for the college staff members on Thursday, September 6, at the college auditorium.
Nikhil Martis, a lecturer from the Degree College welcomed the dignitaries. Dr Prasanth, Professor of Canara First Grade College was the Chief Guest of the programme. Rev Fr Michael Santhumayor, Principal, Milagres College Prof Lourdusamy, Academic Advisor, Milagres Educational institution, Eva Manorama, HOD of Commerce department, Milagres College were also present on the dais.
Cassin Rodrigues, vice principal of Milagres College gave the invitees a floral welcome.
Dr Prasanth began the session during which he spoke about awareness of investing in mutual funds.
“The Mutual funds have advantages and disadvantages compared to direct investing in individual securities. The primary advantages of mutual funds are that they provide economies of scale, a higher level of diversification, they provide liquidity, and they are managed by professional investors,” he said.
Wilma, a lecturer at Milagres College, delivered a vote of thanks.
