Mangaluru: Milagres College, Hampankatta, and National Service Scheme (NSS), Milagres Unit, in association with Human Rights Cell (HRC) celebrated International Yoga Day on Friday, June 21, in Milagres auditorium.
Devika Purshotham, Yoga Guru, was the Chief Guest for the day. She addressed the gathering by saying “Don’t complain, compare and comment negative about others, to be a successful person. For a healthy life a person should have healthy food, adequate sleep, physical exercise and positive attitude. Yoga is not only for physical health but it also helps in our mental, spiritual and emotional wellbeing”.
Rev. Fr. Michael L Santhumayor, Principal, Milagres College, Denzil E Pinto, NSS Program Officer, Anju Thomas, Coordinator of HRC were present on the dais. As many as 65 NSS and 25 HRC volunteers actively participated in this program.
The program was compered by NSS volunteer Mischelle, and Princita J DSouza proposed the vote of thanks.
