Mangaluru: A student named Mahesh Manjunath Gouda, from the Yenepoya Research Centre of the Yenepoya University has been selected for the Research Scholarship, sponsored by the European Respiratory Society (ERS).
Mahesh Gouda is said to be trained and guided by Dr. Gerald Burgstaller of the Ludwig Maximilians University, Munich. He is said to be guided for three months under Dr. Burgstaller.
Under the guidance of the Associate Professor, Yenepoya Research Centre, Dr. Yashodhara P Bhandary, Mahesh is said to conduct research studies based on the topic, “Respiratory related diseases are provoked by wounds” .
Based on the topic, Mahesh is said to conduct his Ph D research.
After three months of training and guidance in Germany, he will be returning back to hometown and continuing his research related activities in the Yenepoya Research Centre of the Yenepoya University based in Mangaluru.
