Mangaluru: The finale of the ISA project of classes three and four, was held in the LCS grounds on January 11 at 8 AM under the banner “Dignity of Labour –Honour labour today and every day”.

The programme was graced by guests from Britain, Nigeria and India including the Principal, Vice Principal and ISA Co-ordinators. Different categories of community helpers were honoured and their work appreciated.

The programme saw a performance of a Tanzanian dance, potter dance and fisherman dance and the folk dances of Karnataka and Goa. The House team members of Jade and Coral House of class four were awarded for excelling in the quiz competition.

Principal LCS Rev. Fr. Robert D’Souza was all praises for the excellent value-based programme showcased by the students. The principal appreciated the services rendered by the community helpers and asked the students to show their due respect to all kinds of community helpers.

The programme concluded with the finale song “We all live in harmony” where the class three students walked about the ramp as community helpers in a fashionable manner. All the guests who were inspired from the celebration left the portals of Lourdes Central School with everlasting memories.

Emily welcomed the guests, Shreya spoke about the significance of Labour Day, and Mahima, Ayushman and Shaifa delivered the vote of thanks.
