Mangaluru: Link ART centre under Karnataka State AIDS Prevention Society (KSAPS) has been inaugurated in Father Muller Medical College Hospital on October 17.
The program was inaugurated by Dr. Badruddin, District TB officer and Officer incharge for DK District AIDS Prevention & Control Unit (DAPCU). Addressing the gathering he said that link-ART centre will be helpful for the HIV/ AIDS Clients to avail the treatment from the centre and follow up of the same. He said that 130 new link-ART centres has been started all over Karnataka and explained all its benefits to the people living with HIV (PLHIV).
Inaugural function began with welcoming the Guests and gathering by Mahesh UK, ICTC Counsellor.
Rev. Fr. Richard Coelho, Director, FMCI who was present during the occasion and said, “We AT Father Muller Hospital is pleased to be associated with this program.”
Rev. Fr. Rudolph Ravi D’sa, Administrator FMMCH, Dr. B. Sanjeev Rai, CMS, FMCI, Dr. Jayaprakash Alva, Dean, FMMC, Sr. Janet, Nursing Superintendent, MC Members, HOD’s of all departments were present during the function.
