Is the GMAT Score accepted at Indian B Schools?

If we talk about the Historical context of GMAT, its genesis can be traced from an organization called Graduate Management Admission Council who in the year 1953 formed the association in order to develop this test to select qualified applicants for management studies. Since then it has been widely acclaimed and popularised.
