Mangaluru: The SDM College of Business Management Post Graduate Centre for Management Studies and Research, Mangaluru had organised an inauguration of the Gavel Club 2018-19 on October 25 at the college conference hall.
DTM Savitha Salian, Division Director inaugurated the club and Manisha Daithota, President, winners Toast Masters Club, was the chief guest of the programme.
Savitha Salian, in her inaugural address, highlighted the importance of communication in our life and motivated the students to make use of the opportunities and improve their talking skills through the Gavel Club.
Sumathi, faculty co-ordinator for the Gavel club welcomed the gathering. Vishakha Mogral, student co-ordinator introduced DTM Savitha Salian. Rasha, student co-ordinator, introduced the chief guest Manisha Daithota. Director of the institute, Dr Seema S Shenoy delivered the vote of thanks. Shreya Kotekar, student, compered the programme.
The inauguration was followed by a demonstration of Gavel Club activities by the members of winners Toast Masters Club.
