Mangaluru: In spite of television, mobile and social media, the new form of radio- FM radio has succeeded in attracting youth, said University College Mangalore Journalism department Head Dr. Shani K R.
She spoke during the student talent hunt programme organized by Media Club association along with Red FM 93.5 at Ravindra Kalabhavana of the college on Thursday. Addressing students, RJ Nayana and RJ Trishool suggested them not to stick on academics, but also utilize the opportunities for better carrier.
Students performed skits, solo and group singing, mono acting, mimicry, advertisement exhibition, and other cultural programs. Geethanjali, Harshitha, and Greeshma bagged prizes for their performance.
