Mangaluru: “Hard work with smart work coupled with destiny will lead us to become successful entrepreneurs”, said MLA Mangaluru South Vedavyas Kamath, here on October 12, after inaugurating the ED Cell at the SDM Post Graduate Centre for Management Studies and Research.
He stressed on having a vision and focus to achieve it.
Vedavyas Kamath also quoted “Age is not a barrier to start an enterprise”.
CMD of Hanuman Group of Concerns Vial Nayak, who was the keynote speaker inspired the students focusing on his personal journey on how failure can be a stepping stone to become a successful entrepreneur.
Meantime he motivated the youth to remain in Mangaluru and help contribute to the city by achieving success.
The inauguration programme was followed by two technical sessions.
Assistant Director, MSME Development Institute, Ministry of MSME, Govt. Of India, Sundara Sherigara M and Kumble Narasimha Prabhu of Kumble Solar Energy Solutions Pvt. Ltd were the resource persons.
Sundara Sherigara spoke on “Entrepreneurial Motivation Training”
Kumble Narasimha Prabhu spoke on the procedures & norms for starting a new enterprise and gave a brief insight on MUDRA Scheme.
Director of SDM Dr. Seema S Shenoy welcomed the gathering.
Staff Co-ordinator Ramya Shetty gave an insight into the activities of the ED Cell.
Student Coordinators of the programme were Santhosh Patel, Yash Sharma and Sunil Kumar.
Charishma Suvarna compeered the programme.
