Ms. Amrita Shah, eminent journalist and social theorist will be speaking at NIT Trichy during Prgayan 2019. The organizers told Newskarnataka.com that the eminent author has agreed to give a guest lecture at Pragyan 2019.
Ms. Amrita Shah is well known for her daring and pioneering investigations into the Mumbai underworld. She is the author of books such as Hype, Hypocrisy & Television in Urban India, Vikram Sarabhai: A Life and Ahmedabad: A City in the World. She has also been recognized for her telling contributions to journalism, by being conferred numerous fellowships by the New India Foundation, the Homi Bhabha Fellowships Council, the Fulbright Foundation and the Ministry of Culture, India.
