Mangaluru: The Eco club and Life Science Association, in collaboration with the National Service Scheme (NSS) and Parent Teacher Association of Milagres College, Mangaluru, organized a Vanamahotsava programme on June 26.
The programme was organised as trees have gained national importance and every year, millions of saplings are planted across India in observation of the Vanamahotsava week. It creates awareness among students regarding forest conservation, thus helps in reducing pollution.

Following this, Shridhar and Principal of the college, Rev. Fr Michael L Santhumayor lanted some saplings. Saplings were also distributed to all students.
