CineFest-2018: Alva’s MCJ crowned overall champions

Moodabidri: Alva’s College Mass Communication and Journalism (MCJ) students were victorious in the “CineFest-2018” organised by the Filmmaking Forum of Alva’s College.

Over 200 students from different colleges of Alva’s Education Foundation participated in the event.

In the short film category, Rohith and his team of BCom students won the first place for “Majboori Jindagi”, while “Dark Moon” made by engineering students led by Chandan Shastri came second.

“Nadini” made by Alva’s Multimedia Productions was adjudged the best documentary.

“Aadipasha”, a Kannada short film produced by Kurkure Creations and a Kannada album “Nee Jotegiddare” were release at the closing ceremony of the event.

Actor Praveen Mandagadde, Convener of Film Making Forum Dr. Rajiv and BCA lecturer Dileep were present at the ceremony.
