Mangaluru: Bondel Laughter Club, conducted a 40-minute laughter session for the students and staff of TCIS Cambridge International School at its campus on Thursday, January 10. The other members of the team were Prof. AM Khalil and Venkappa M, both founder members of the club which recently celebrated its 5,000th session.
The school marked the event ahead of the World Laughter Day which falls in May when students go for their annual vacation. The enthusiastic students, about two hundred and up to class 7, and a dozen staff members went through ten types of laughter, preceded by physical exercises and concluded with affirming half a dozen self-esteem declarations.
The School Principal, Mercy Rego, welcomed and introduced the main anchor who led the session. She said that the school is contemplating the introduction of laughter sessions. Responding, John Monteiro offered to help, if needed to initiate and stabilise such laughter venture.
