Mangaluru: In view of the World Asthma Day, on May 1, an awareness programme was held at A J Institute of Medical Sciences (AJIMS) hospital on May 2.
The programme was kicked off with a prayer song by Dr. Anne, followed by a welcome speech by Dr. Pooja.
This was followed by a talk by the chief guest Dr. Ashok Hegde, Dean, AJIMS.
An asthma awareness skit was then presented by the doctors of AJIMS following which the vote of thanks was proposed.
Dr. Santosh T Soans, Professor and Head of the Paediatric Department, AJIMS, Dr. Sachidananda, President of IAP and Medical Superintendent, Dr. Devdas Rai, Professor of General Medicine, AJIMS and Dayanand, Administrative Officer were also present at the event.
The programme was hosted by Dr. Swetha, a post graduate student from the paediatric department.
