Mangaluru: A. J. Institute of Allied Health Sciences, Mangaluru organized, ‘Inauguration and Orientation Programme of Batch 2018-19’ on October 22 at the A. J. Auditorium.
The event was presided over by Prashanth Shetty, Vice President, Laxmi Memorial Education Trust.
Dr. Sushith, Principal, A. J. Institute of Allied Health Sciences welcomed the gathering and encouraged the fresher’s to put their maximum effort to attain their goals. He also thanked the management for their continuous support in all the academic activities.
Dr.Ashok Hegde, Dean, A. J. Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre highlighted the importance of Allied Health Science courses in healthcare. He elaborated on the utility of allied courses in the health care delivery system.
Dr. Sudhesh Rao, Chief Intensivist, and Anesthesiologist, A.J. Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre delivered the orientation address and explained about the role of paramedics and their importance in health care profession.
Prashanth Shetty, Vice President, Laxmi Memorial Education Trust, delivered the presidential address and elaborated on the vision and mission of A. J. Group of Institutions. He congratulated the students for selecting paramedical courses and assured management’s continuous support in achieving their educational goals.

Students from various parts of Southern India and a few students from other parts of the world have enrolled in this batch of 2018-19.
Dr. Mohandas Rai, Associate Dean, Dr. Francis N. P. Monteiro, Associate Dean and Dr. Sachidananda, Deputy Chief Superintendent, A. J. Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre were present on the occasion.
Tripthi Uchil, Lecturer, Department of Microbiology proposed the vote of thanks and Nikhil Thomas, Lecturer, Department of Cardiac Care Technology compeered the entire orientation programme.
