Mangaluru: Karnataka Vikas Grameen Bank has bagged five top awards (Lead to Leap, Makers of Excellence, Game Changers, Leadership Capital, and Amazing Achievers) under various campaigns across the country for the implementation of the Atal Pension Scheme (APY).
The awards were presented by the Pension Fund Regulation and Development Authority (PFRDA) Bank of New Delhi.
Speaking on this occasion, P Gopi Krishna, Chairman of Karnataka Vikas Grameen Bank said the bank has been able to deliver financial services at affordable prices to the underprivileged.
He said the bank has performed well in the national priority social security schemes such as the Atal Pension Scheme (APY), Prime Minister Jeevan Jyoti Bhima Scheme (PMJJBY), and Prime Minister’s Protective Insurance Scheme (PMSBY).
He said that “the bank has made 78129 policies under the Jeevan Jyoti Bhima scheme, 94658 policies under the Suraksha insurance scheme, and 68961 accounts under the Atal pension scheme in the financial year 2020-2021,” he informed.
