Bidar: A school is facing legal issue for allegedly insulting Prime Minister Narendra Modi in one of its plays. The school is none other than Shaheen Group of Institution.
According to the reports, the institution had performed a play condemning the Citizenship (Amendment) Act and National Register of Citizens (NRC), in which the dialogues were reportedly derogatory.
“I will ask the document with a person who was selling tea” was one of the dialogues.
The video of the teachers and audience present during the programme were seen applauding the performance and encouraging the students.
For this reason, a case has been filed against the chairperson of the institution Dr Abdul Qadeer, social activist Nilesh and other three persons.
District in-charge minister Prabhu Chauhan has ordered the Superintendent of Police to conduct a thorough probe and take necessary legal action against the accused.
