Bidar: The most-awaited Bidar airport is all set to be inaugurated today at 1 PM. The airport will be inaugurated by Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa.
Central and state ministers are expected to be present for the grand event.
The Bidar airport is fully equipped with a luggage conveyor belt, scanning machine, VIP lounges, general lounges and has a separate entry and exit way. It is also fully air-conditioned and has been fitted with CCTV cameras and a control room. Wi-Fi facility has also been provided at the airport.
Yesterday, Bidar Deputy Commissioner Dr. H R Mahadev and other officers visited the airport and discussed today’s inauguration programme. They ensured that all arrangements were ready and that everything will run smoothly today.
