Ballari: Kampli MLA J N Ganesh, who spent 62 days in jail in connection with the assault on MLA Anand Singh of Hosapet, visited his home constituency for the first time after his arrest on Friday, April 26 night.
Speaking to reporters in his home town of Kampli, he stated that even if Anand Singh does not accept him, he will always remain as his younger brother.
“It was a small incident but unfortunately, it became big,” he said.
“Anand Singh and I have known each other for the last 15 years. He stood with me in my hours of crisis and difficulties in the past. This was a freak incident. Singh knows me very well and he will not keep this in mind for long,” he assured.
He, however, declined to comment on the woman who was referred to at the time of the assault.
Speaking about the ‘Operation Kamala’, Ganesh stated that he is doing all he can to keep all the rebel Congress MLAs in the party’s fold.
