Ballari: With the onset of the monsoon, the floods are likely to hit Ballari district. Therefore, District Commissioner Pavanakumar Malapati ordered officials to take all possible measures for adequate management of floods.
He was speaking at a meeting held in the DC office on Thursday he ordered to establish 32 Care Centers.
He said, “In the undivided Bellari district, we have decided to set up 32 care centers to provide the necessary facilities and care for the people of the village temporarily by relocating them to local schools or public buildings.”
DC Malapatti has instructed to set up separate care centers for Covid patients in these 32 villages.
As the rainy season begins, malaria, dengue, and other infectious diseases are likely to spread. Thus he ordered DHO to conduct health checkups in all slum areas.
Mayor Preeti Gehlot, Assistant DC PS Manjunath, and others were present.
