MP Sriramulu’s Delhi residence gutted due to short circuit

Bellary/New Delhi: The residence of Bellary MP Sri Ramulu, located on Feroz Shah Road in New Delhi caught fire following a short circuit.

The incident came to light during wee hours of Tuesday and in the fire fury the bedroom of the MP has been completely reduced to ashes. The fire fighters have brought the situation under control.

It is said that the MP was in the same room when the fire erupted, which then caught on to the curtains of the room burning down sofa set and other commodities. The fire did not spread to any other part of the house.

Sriramulu told the media that he had to struggle his way out of the room and before he could make sense of the situation the fire had spread to the entire room. He said that six to seven people were in the house along with some more youth who had come from Bellari. Many have sustained minor injuries.
