Ballari: With rumours of Revenue Minister R Ashok’s son having caused a deadly road mishap in Hosapete that claimed two lives making rounds, Ballari SP has clarified that the minister’s son was not behind the mishap.

According to the police sources, on Monday, an over speeding car hit a tea shop at Mariyammanahalli near Hosapet on National Highway 50 and soon name of Minister R Ashok’s son started making rounds.

However, clarifying the same, SP CK Baba has said that the minister’s son is not connected to the mishap at all and that the police has never tried to hush the matter up.
