Hosapete: Hampi Kannada University has withdrawn its recent order in which it appointed nine teaching and six non-teaching staff.
The University Syndicate meeting was held on March 27, and on the same day the election dates was declared, and the model code of conduct came into existence. The appointment order was also given on the same day.
Many had complained to the Deputy Commissioner Ramprasad Manohar that appointment orders were distributed by breaching the election code of conduct. According to the direction of the DC, Sub-Divisional Officer Gargi Jain had visited the university on Tuesday to collect the information.
