Ballary: In a tragic incident five members a family, including an eight-year-old boy were all killed on the spot after the car in which they were traveling collided head-on into a KSRTC bus near Kuluru Cross in Kurugodu police station limit here on Friday, June 15.
The deceased, it is gathered are natives of Davangere. However, their identity is yet to be established.
Reportedly, the car was headed towards Ballari while the KSRTC bus was moving towards Siruguppa. The intensity of the accident was so much that the car was completely damaged and all five occupants died on the spot.
Kurugodu police rushed to the accident spot. Both the police and the public faced a tough time in removing the bodies from inside the mangled car.
A case has been registered at Kurugodu police station.
