Ballari: A meeting will be held on December 28 in Bengaluru for the selection of new Lokayukta at the presence of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and acting chief justice of Karnataka High Court, presiding officers of Assembly and Council, leader of Opposition of both the Houses.
Speaking to media persons CM said that the decision on selecting the new Lokayukta will be made after taking the opinion of the members of the selection committee constituted for the same. However the selection committee has not yet shortlisted any names for the post.
He was in the city to campaign for K C Kondaiah, the Congress candidate from Ballari local bodies constituency for the upcoming Legislative Council elections.
