Ballari: The main accused along with 9 others in BJP leader and Rowdy-sheeter Bandi Ramesh’ murder case have been nabbed by the Ballari police here on June 30.
The main accused Jagga alais Jagadeesha, Jagga’s brother Maranna, Maranna’s sons Pavan and Kalyanakumara, Hari from Andhra Pradesh, Jagga’s car driver Malli alias Mallikarjuna, Suri, Mallikarjuna from Shantinagar and Nasir were arrested on June 30.
Earlier, Ballari police had taken Jagga’s sisters Neelamma, Laxmi and Jagga’s sister-in-law Mangamma into custody. Another main accused Nerakatla Yellappa and few others are absconding.
It may be recalled that on June 22, Bandi Ramesh was brutally murdered near Guggarahatti Shrisai Pavan dhaba.
Ballari SP R Chetan also said that former MLA Somashekar Reddy who attempted to mediate between Jagga and Bandi Ramesh to end their personal rivalry will also be interrogated.
