Ballari: They say ‘Truth always Triumphs’ and in DySP Anupama Shenoy’s case it seems to be true.
After being unceremoniously transferred from Kudligi at the behest of Minister Parameshwara Naik, for a trivial reason that she disconnected the Minister’s call after waiting for 40 seconds for him to come on line, Shenoy was reinstated to the same post on February 1.
Raged by Shenoy’s move of disconnecting his call to receive a call from her higher up, the Minister had reportedly questioned Shenoy as to who was superior, a Minister or her higher up and instantly got her transferred.
After initially denying the allegations, Naik had later said that he had a role to play in her transfer.
Shenoy received a lot of support from people of Kudligi in particular and the state in general.
After reports that she was transferred to Indi of Vijayapura district, on February 1, the reports of Shenoy being reinstated to the post of DySP Kudligi has made Shenoy’s supporters beams a smile.
