Belagavi: The SIT officials brought accused Parashuaram Waghmore to Belagavi on the late evening of Wednesday, June 20, in connection with the investigations into journalist Gowri Lankesh murder case.
According to sources, the SIT wants to scan the place where Parashuram had been trained in shooting a gun. Reports said that Parashuram had revealed that he received training at some uninhabited place around Khanapur Jungles near here. The local police were caught unawares as the SIT had not informed them about their visit. There are possibilities that people from Belagavi may be involved in the case, they said.
Parashuram will be interrogated until late evening today and then taken to Bengaluru, claimed sources.
