Belagavi: A 110-meter high flagpost for hoisting the National Flag instated on the banks of Kote Kere here will be inaugurated on March 12 at 9 am.
Addressing a press conference here on Sunday, Belagavi North constituency MLA Firoz Seth said that District-in-Charge Minister Ramesh Jarakiholi will launch the flag post in which a 120×80 feet tri-color will be hoisted.
One of the tallest flag post in the country, it will be of the same height as the one used at the Wagah Border to unfurl the National Flag.
